The new Honda Civic is coming on sale
Finally, Honda brings its new Civic of 2014 on the market. The price of the novelty starts from 18,980 dollars to 25,000 dollars for the EX model including the navigation system.
The novelty is equipped with a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine, which may produce the power of 143 horsepower with the torque of 129 lb-ft, the gearbox is expected to be automatic as standard but the carmaker promises to offer the five-speed manual gearbox too.
The new Civic has become more efficient – the fuel consumption is gone down two mpg in city conditions and 1 mpg on highways.
The new exterior includes a new grille, headlights, a new front part with larger restyled fog lights and lower air intakes, the renewed back part with new taillights.
The interior of the novelty includes a start button, the Lane Watch blind spots system, the Honda Link system and the 7-inch touchscreen.
The auto manufacturer aims to increase sales in the U.S. market.
The brand is in the American market for about 28 years; the Civic launching is 26 percent of the American segment of all compact cars. The carmaker has produced 8 million Civic models, 10 million Accord cars and 2 million Odyssey models in only the United States car market.
The Honda Company has sold over 300,000 Civic models for the period from January to November this year in the U.S.
