The largest automaker in the world Toyota has announced about another major recall of its vehicles. At this time the company will recall nearly a million cars world-wide, including 752 thousand Corolla and Corolla Matrix vehicles in the U.S.A. The reason of recall is using of airbags that could be deployed inadvertently.
Toyota spokesman Naoto Fuse said that the technical malfunctions had been already caused minor injuries to the car owners in 18 cases that have been reported. In addition, two accidents have been reported by customers outside Japan, although Toyota has not been able to confirm them.
Toyota will also recall 385,000 Lexus IS and its series, including 270,000 Lexus IS vehicles in the United States over wiper problems that may not be tight enough. The owners of the cars that can have such malfunctions will receive informational letters with request to bring cars to the dealers for repairing.
We would remind you that in November of 2012 Toyota recalled 2.77 million vehicles all over the world for repairing of a steering glitch and ejector of Prius.
