Like the Lexus IS 350 sedan, but want it had two fewer doors?

It's been developed to improve the brand's profile with a broader audience and new-to-Lexus customers. Emotional appeal is injected by it into the Lexus DNA that's synonymous with build refinement, quality and dependability.

Competitors offer coupe versions of their popular sedans, so Lexus bringing a fastback-design model to its entrylevel line appears like a nobrainer. The RC 350 will not be especially blessed with back headroom, but it'll provide the same 306-hp 3.5liter V6 used within the present IS and GS sedan lines.

A turbocharged 2.0liter fourcylinder will follow the first start, as will a highperformance variation -- probably called the RC-F -- powered by a V8.

Lexus allegedly considered just enlarging the line together with the brand new coupe. But new identifying strategies adopted by BMW and Audi may have affected Lexus to spin off as another line the RC. Additionally, it provides a method to the business to softly discontinue the slowselling twodoor IS hardtop convertible model.

Design outside

Design interior

Highly acclaimed sports concept vehicles have considerably affected the inside of the Lexus RC coupe, with maximum use of contrasting materials, colours and light.

A purposebuilt Lexus-first light package supplies a great awareness of occasion, with illumination that reflects upwards, rather than downwards, to envelop the cottage.

High contrast interior trim, including a startling new tone called Clove, highlight design lines and accentuate the cottage.

Genuine shimamoku wood highlights - the consequence of an extreme, layered wood production technique refined by Lexus - are used to highlight the surrounding trim.

The driver's cockpit is split into functional and display zones. The top zone houses the instrument panel plus a navigation display as a layered center console integrates a new Lexus first Remote Touch Interface.

Importantly for a coupe, the seats use an incorporated foaming building process - similar to the moulding of racing seats - to ensure optimum occupant comfort and support.
