With the iconic design that additionally includes sporty operation and functionality, the Scion C-HR Concept is much like the customer of Scion as it strives to stick out in the bunch.

"Scion is well known for doing things otherwise, and perhaps even being a little odd," said Scion Vice President Andrew Gilleland. "This C-HR Concept adopts that thought and wears it like a badge of honour. We could not be more excited to add the generation variation to our lineup."

The C-HR Concept is named for High Ride height and its Streamlined size.

These customers needed something distinctive, innovative, enthusiastic and clean and put an emphasis on excellent layout. The customers needed something for their urban lifestyle that triggered emotion and seen SUVs too boring.

Given that creative permit, Toyota's international design team embarked on a layout which makes a statement, but strengthens the function of the CHR as an urban lifestyle vehicle.

Taking inspiration from a diamond with sides that are sheered, the CHR cottage is similar to a precision-cut gemstone. In the overhead view, the diamond points happen to be dramatically cut in back, the front and sides, giving view flares visible from every angle of the vehicle. The lower body is sexual and instills powerful emotions while protection is suggested by the chiseled, faceted cottage, giving the CHR comparing characteristics that fulfill two desires. The all-piano black roof improves the sleek and fashionable profile of the CHR.

The 21-inch wheels continue attribute spokes and the cut stone motif with chiseled cutouts formed using the profile at heart of the automobile.

Underneath the C-HR's captivating layout is a stage featuring the New Global Architecture of Toyota (TNGA). TNGA is an integrated and advanced method of developing new platforms and powertrains.

The increased body rigidity reduces spin and body motion in cornering. Developments is likely to be felt through reactive agility, management and straight line stability.

"Even though the CHR has a higher ride height, our focus was on making a brilliant urban driving car," said CHR Chief Engineer Hiro Koba.

More information on technical specifications for the CHR and the time is likely to be accessible when the generation version debuts in 2016.
