2015 Mercedes-Benz presents a new compact crossover

The Mercedes-Benz Company will introduce its new car of the GLA-Class at the Auto Show in Frankfurt. It will be a compact crossover, which is oriented essentially to customers of Europe and the U.S.A. markets.
The Mercedes brand considers that the sporty, city and rugged compact crossover of 2015 will be estimated not only on the European auto markets, but also over the world.
The subcompact crossover has no problems with parking because its modest sizes the car is maneuverable in busy cities: the length is 4,419.6 mm, the width is 1,803.4 mm an the height is 1,498.6 mm, which means that this vehicle is shorter then common compact crossovers especially in the United States. The seating position is a bit higher than in sedans.
The car GLA 250 of 2015 will be equipped with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine, producing 208 horsepower with the torque of 349.40 Nm.

The vehicle gets a seven-speed dual-clutch automated gearbox with shifting; all-wheel drive models are equipped with the 4Matic system, putting the torque to each of four wheels in full, the Downhill Speed regulation system, its gearbox has the off-road mode and for comfort driving there are rubber bushings on its rear axle.

There will be a front-wheel drive model of the GLA-Class comes soon. Models will get the MacPherson strut front and multi-link rear suspension.
The new electromechanical steering system allows saving fuel. The GLA model accelerates from 0 km/h to 97 km/h in 6.4 seconds and the maximum speed is 233.35 km/h.
The 2015 GLA cars are safety vehicles due to the Attention Assist for sleepy driver, Collision Prevention Assist, Adaptive Brake Assist, and Collision Prevention Assist Plus, Blind Spot and Lane Keeping Assist systems.
The prices of the Mercedes GLA of 2015 will be different; the company is interested in not increase costs for the car in the United States, because of the dense pricing policy for this segment of subcompact crossovers. The price on the European auto markets will be higher.
There are a lot of new details and parts and design decisions both in the exterior of the car and in the interior of the GLA-class model. Every details will be shown at the Motor Show in Frankfurt this September.
The new compact crossover Mercedes will come on sale in the U.S.A. the autumn of 2014.
