2016 Ford Mustang gets new option packages

Ford has declared the yearold Mustang will enter the 2016 model-year using a couple of small upgrades.
Most of the adjustments for the approaching model year are located on the set of choices. The Mustang Eco Boost Premium may be purchased using a fresh alternative package called Pony Bundle, a title first used in the 60's. It bundles 19-inch polished aluminum wheels, a three-slat radiator grille and chrome trim round the windows. As its title suggests, the GT's new Black Accent Package provides black 19-inch alloy wheels, a black spoiler on the trunk-lid, dark trimming in the taillights and blacked-out symbols all around. Going upward in the ponycar hierarchy, the GT Premium gains a California Special Bundle which includes 19-inch ebony-painted machined aluminum wheels, hood and side stripes, a black spoiler, a product-unique faux petrol cap outside back, black-painted mirrors, hood vents, a strut tower brace, a front splitter, a three-slat grille and darkish tail-lamp emphases. Indoors, the bundle adds Ebony leather/Miko suede seat inserts, red contrast stitching new carpeting and aluminium-look trim on the dash. The well-known Performance-Package that has been offered last year on the Mustang-GT fastback is available nowadays on GT convertibles built using a standard transmission. It provides a more substantial radiator, a revised suspension set up with greater swaybars and heavy duty springs, six-piston Brembo calipers up front, 19-inch alloys, a special tuning for the stability-control, ABS and power-steering techniques, a more competitive front splitter as well as a Torsen limited-slip differential.
Eventually, Mustang customers can farther deck out their vehicle by selecting from an extended set of customization choices including black or silver racing stripes, new wheel styles along with a black roof panel. Also, the V-8-powered GT gains from new hood port turn indicators, a tradition-laced styling clue first released in 1967. The 2016 Ford Mustang will arrive in dealerships in the 3rd quarter of the year. Ford hasn't declared just how much of a premium it is going to carry over the 2015 version.
