A prototype based on the BMW 2-Series-Based Mule Spy Shots

Just recently, we have noticed a new prototype, which looks based on the 2-series of BMW as well.
The mule has the black hood, which may be composite; the wheelbase seems to be shorter than the regular 2-series has.
Currently, we do not have any news about the future novelty; the carmaker is not also in a hurry to announce about that.
According to some rumors, that mule is a version for the next M Performance. But, there is no confirmed information.
Besides, the prototype looks similar to the BMW 2-series, we cannot say more because the car is not like other models of the well-known BMW lineups or recently introduced concept M2.
So, we have to be patient and just wait until the auto manufacturer officially presented the novelty.
