Cadillac CTS-V debut at the Detroit show

Cadillac has introduced its new CTS-V at the show in Detroit this week; the novelty comes as the 2016 model.
The novelty is equipped with the 6.2-liter V8 LT4 engine, producing the output of 640 horsepower and the torque of 630 lb-ft. By the way, the latest Chevrolet Corvette has a similar powertrain as well. The Cadillac’s sedan has become the most powerful even to compare with the Ferrari 458 Speciale. For instance, the Mercedes E63 AMG and the BMW M5 produces the outputs of 577 hp and 575 hp, respectively. The potential rival the 2016 Lexus GS F issuing the power of 467 horsepower as well.
According to the automaker, the new luxury sedan accommodates five seats is able to accelerate from 0 mph to 60 mph in 3.7 seconds; the maximum speed is 200 mph.
The novelty gets the new eight-speed automatic 8L90 gearbox developed by the General Motors. In addition, the car is equipped with the cylinder-deactivation and fuel-saving technologies. Besides, there other standard equipment such as Brembo brakes, magnetic ride control suspension of the third generation, improved parking system including the front curb-view camera system and others.
The auto manufacturer plans to announce prices close to the start selling this year.
