Cadillac has made decision to stop production of a crossover with the third row of seats.
According to the official report, Cadillac does not plan to continue producing of its third row seats crossover in future. Instead of this model, the carmaker is going to hard work on the premium models such as GMC Acadia and the Buick Enclave.
The auto manufacturer has been working on development its crossover, which had the third row of seats for specially buyers who prefer enough spacious for eight people but the car with dynamics of a typical crossover.
This vehicle is based on the Lambda platform of General Motors and the carmaker planned to update the crossover by 2017 model year.
However, currently Cadillac has to delay its idea because of the increasing sales of Acadia, Enclave and Escalade. Moreover, the carmaker is working on a new compact crossover, which will be a rival for Lincoln MKC, Mercedes GLA-class and the X1 of BMW as well.
