Daimler plans to revive the Maybach brand in three sedans but without SUV

Recently, Daimler has confirmed plans to revive the ultra-luxury brand Maybach, which soon will be presented in three new models. They are S-class sedans oriented to the Chinese auto market.
According to the automaker, all three novelties will be presented at auto shows in Guangzhou and Los Angeles by the end of this month. There will be the Mercedes-Maybach S 400 in the 4MATIC version, which will be equipped with the 3.0-liter V6 engine and the all-wheel-drive system 4MATIC by Mercedes. The next sedan is the Mercedes-Maybach 500 that gets the V8 engine and the third version is the Mercedes-Maybach S 600, which is equipped with the 6.0-liter V12 twin turbocharged engine issuing the output of 530 horsepower.
What about the new Maybach SUV, currently, the carmaker is not ready to talk about that, however, in the future, if there will be a launching of that model; the novelty will be based on the GL.
Moreover, now, there is no details about plug-in hybrid versions of the novelties but, probably then, the Daimler will think about it.
