Ferrari is working on developing a novelty for 2.5 million euro
Last week, the Italian auto manufacturer Ferrari announced its plans to launch a new model, which will be only limited edition and produced for the U.S. auto market as well.
According to the carmaker, there are 10 models, which are in development now but they have been already sold for 3.2 million dollars each.
Also, the new model has the body painted in the blue color with white stripes –the colors of the racecars of the North American team during the period from 1960 to 1980.
The automaker has announced the official introduction of the novelty, which will take place in the middle of October in Los Angeles. Next day, Sergio Marchionne will replace Montezmolo as a chairman of Ferrari.
Now the Ferrari’s chairman has made decision to decline commenting his leaving after 20-year work in the Company.
It is known the novelty is built on the two-seated F12 Berlinetta coupe, which is equipped with the V12 producing the output of 740 horsepower. The new Ferrari model will get unique interior and design.
The endurance racing tests are conducted by the ex-Ferrari drive Luigi Chinetti who promotes the Italian brand in the U.S.
According to the personal history of Chinetti, he arrived to the U.S. during World War II. He was the Ferrari’s driver than Chinetti became the first Italian brand’s representative in the U.S.
