Ford introduces one-off Mustang Apollo Video
Ford has launched the one off Mustang Apollo Version ahead of its introduction at this season 's version of the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) AirVenture fly-in which will happen in Oshkosh, Wis., after this month.
As its title suggests, the Mustang Apollo is freely inspired by NASA's Apollo System. It stands from the 2015 Mustang on which it's established thanks to some notable splitter at the start, reddish mirror caps, a big wing outside back, unique alloy wheels as well as a 2-tone monochrome paint job with red accents. "United States" stickers on the hood as well as the front fenders put in a finishing touch to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration-inspired appearance. Interior photos never have been released yet, but Ford's simple teaser video shows the Apollo Edition boasts Apollo emblems embroidered into the seat backs. Likewise, specialized details are being held under wraps for for now. Ford has given the custom built Mustang to the EAA, as well as the coupe is planned to cross the auction block in the Gathering of Eagles gala which will occur through the AirVenture present. An auction estimate had not been supplied, but the asking price will be high as the profits from your sale will help finance the firm year round youth aviation systems.
