The novelty is the C-class Cabriolet, which is a version of the next generation of the C-class Coupe as well.
As we can notice, the novelty looks a bit sportier than the C-class sedan, which is based on. The novelty’s track is wider and the car is lower than its predecessor is. Moreover, side mirrors are located on doors but on the A-pillar as the sedan has. The new C-class convertible gets only two doors.
What about the roof of the novelty, the latest C-class most likely gets a soft-top except the expensive hard-top as well. Meanwhile, the S-class and E-class also get the similar soft-top, which is less expensive but more convenient.
The novelty will be equipped with two different types of powertrains: C400 and C300. The version with the C300 is equipped with the 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine, which produces the output of 235 horsepower and the torque of 273 lb-ft. The variant that equipped with the C400 includes the 3.0-liter V6 turbocharged engine, issuing the output of 329 horsepower and the torque of 354 lb-ft. Both versions may get standard rear-wheel-drive and the seven-speed automatic gearbox.
The renewed C-class includes a sedan, coupe, long-wheelbase, a plug-in hybrid and a wagon version. Besides them, there is a sporty C450 AMG Sport and high-performance C63 AMG models. Unfortunately, it is not expected if the C-class convertible will be in the AMG package.
