Hennessey plans to equip the Venom model with a more powerful unit
Everyone knows the Hennessey Venom GT; that car has the top speed of 270 mph and that may not be enough for it. That is why, the Hennessey’s engineers has made decision to accelerate the car to 290 mph as well.
After those updates, the model will get a new name as the Venom F5 because its speed will be matched with the tornado wind speed.
The updated Venom will be equipped with the 7.0-liter V8 twin turbocharged engine, which is able to produce the power of 1,400 horsepower. However, the novelty will become faster due to the improved aerodynamics.
According to the official representative of the Hennessey Performance Engineering, the updated Venom will have not only the renewed design but also better performance owing to improving the aerodynamics.
Currently, the Venom GT has the drag coefficient of 0.44, the auto manufacturers is working on decreasing it to 0.40 to produce noticeable downforce.
The updated Venom F5 will come on the production next year, and the first customers will be able to buy the novelty only in two years.
