House panel rejects extra funding for NHTSA

A House panel has apparently rejected a suggestion that might have supplied additional funds for the Nhtsa.
The Republican-directed appropriations sub-committee last week authorized a transportation spending bill that excluded any any extra funds for the NHTSA, rejecting the Obama government's petition to triple the bureau's flaw-investigation budget, in accordance with The Detroit News.In a followup interview, NHTSA administrator Mark Rosekind noticed that criticisms have almost doubled to 80,000 filings in 2014, yet the bureau can simply manage to delegate nine employees to evaluate the entries."We Are quite worried," he stated. "You-can't keep speaking about needing to make things safer and more efficient."Laws that would provide financial incentives for sector whistleblowers has obtained more assistance.
