Hyundai is dropping the price for the 2015 Sonata
The totally new Hyundai Sonata of 2015 model year has the basic price of 21,960 dollars; the Sport 2.0T version is offered for 29,385 dollars that is less than the previous model by 300 dollars.
However, this price dropping is connected with decreasing powertrains: the 2.4-liter engine is producing the output of 185 horsepower in comparison with previous 190 horsepower; the turbocharged powertrain issues 245 horsepower with the toque of 260 lb-ft in comparison with previous 274 horsepower of the output and the torque of 269 lb-ft.
The auto manufacturer has equipped both powertrains with the brand’s E-CVVT system that allows improving performance and reducing emissions.
Moreover, the novelty is equipped with many new safety systems including lane departure warning, rear cross traffic alert, blind spots detection and others.
According to the carmaker’s report, the Sonata will come on the market in May.
