Hyundai reveals refreshed Santa Fe in South Korea
Hyundai h-AS revealed a face lifted Santa Fe in Republic Of Korea, a layout that's prone to cross to the 2016 Santa F-E when it goes on-sale in america.
Visual modifications include a more aggressive front fascia, emphasized with a bold grille consisting of three thick chrome bars, as an alternative to the present five. Rather than distinctive fog light bezels, a redesigned lower half links both foglamp nooks collectively in a kabuki-like scowl.
Refreshed headlights (that contain cornering illumination) and LED tail-lights are also portion of the new appearance, as are grey-completed 10-spoke wheels. Three new body colours are also added to the palette.
The upgrade is more than decorative. The whole unibody was stiffened with high-strength metal, as well as a package of new security functions today come standard on the South-Korean version. Such systems include sovereign highway driving and emergency braking, intelligent cruise-control and blind-spot monitors. The backup camera was updated to 100 megapixels at the same time, and an elective 360-degree Aroundview Monitor can be obtained.
The Korean variant has a range of diesel motors available with a-6-speed automatic. The foundation 2.0L variation creates 183hp and 296 pounds-feet of torque, while a leveled-up 2.2L makes 199hp and 325-lb-feet of torque. A superior JBL sound system can also be accessible.
The United States will probably get a much more strong 2.4L diesel, along with a 3.3L V6 and a hybrid variant as well. The refreshed Santa Fe is likely to arrive in US showroom in early 2016.
