Kia Novo concept revealed in Seoul
Together with all the turmoil in Nyc this week some pretty major unveilings in the Seoul Motor Show, occurring concurrently, were virtually overlooked. Probably the most exciting theory to come in the South Korean display was the stunning Kia Novo theory.
The Novo is a design research designed to to state the manufacturer potential appearance. Kia claims the title was obtained from in the Latin phrase "novatus," which supplies the origin for the term "creation" and indicates "to make new."
The Novo's slick lines arrived from Kia's Namyang studio. Designers frequently fight to give slick lines to Corolla-sized automobiles, but Kia has managed to achieve this, offering the Novo a "four-door coupe" physique thanks to some swoopy roofline and deficiency of b pillar.
The encounter requires Kia's hallmark tiger-nose grille and widens it well, flanking it with laser headlights and fashionable laser foglamps sketching competitive air intakes. A distinguishing alloy-end "hoop" consists of the C-column and trailing roof edge, matched using a perpendicular side grille over the leading-edge of the front doorways.
Despite conventional rear wheel drive percentages, Kia claims the Novo uses a front wheel drive layout with power from a 1.6L turbo-four matched to a-7-speed dual clutch transmission like the one from the just-revealed Kia Optima.
Unfortunately, there are not any firm plans for creation, even though the business firmly suggests that components of the Novo is likely to make their way to future automobiles.
