There is a nice chance to glance at the latest Porsche 911 Carrera cabrio that plans to be shown in just 2 year.
The Porsche carmaker is working on updating its 911 series, which includes developing of prototypes for the future 911 Turbo model and the 911 Carrera cabrio as well.
At the same time, the auto manufacturer plans to launch the upgraded version of the 911 Carrera coupe. Bothe renewed models are expected to go on sale by the end of this year of at the beginning of the next.
The main changes concerned the exterior such as redesigned daytime running light, new shaped intakes, a grille equipped with the special active function saving fuel. In addition, there are new intakes on the rear bumper.
Besides the new design of the exterior, new models will probably get updated and more powerful powertrains.

According to unconfirmed information, the carmaker is going to mount new downsized engines to reduce fuel consumption and improve performance as well. Thus, the present Carrera car is equipped with the 3.4-liter six-cylinder flat-mounted engine, which can produce the power of 350 horsepower. But the S variant of Carrera has the 3.8-liter six-cylinder flat-mounted engine, which is able to issue the power of 400 horsepower.
Anyway, we will get more details about the future Carrera when the carmaker starts its advertisement campaign.
