Lincoln has announced prices for its new Navigator model
Lincoln has declared the price for its 2015 Navigator, which got some new updates in interior, exterior and technical features. Thus, the carmaker dropped the price for its novelty by 10,000 dollars less than the totally new Cadillac Escalade of the same model year.
Lincoln plans first to show its updated car at the show in Chicago next year but this new luxury SUV will meet competition not only with the Cadillac Escalade but also Land Rover Range Rover, Lexus LX570 and Mercedes GL-class as well.
The Lincoln’s novelty will come with the 3.5-liter V6 engine EcoBoost working with a standard six-speed automatic gearbox; its wheelbase will be available with 4x4 and 4x2 drivetrains. However, according to these options, the price may be changed.
The standard technical features include Blind Spot Information System with cross-traffic alert, SYNC with MyLincolnTouch, the THX II Certified 5.1 surround sound audio system, forward sensing system, voice-activated navigation LED-backlit instrument cluster and others, which make driving more convenient.
The standard wheelbase Navigator 4x2 in the Select trim will start costing from 62,475 dollars. The Reserve trim costs from 69,975 dollars and includes stainless power running boards, leather seats and dashboard, Ziricote wood accents, 22-inch aluminum wheels, the brand’s Drive Control with dynamic suspension damping and the exterior in two tones.
The 4x4 Navigator will be offered in the Select trim for 66,050 dollars and in the Reserve pack for 72,900 dollars. The all-wheel-drive version is equipped with standard features also including the hill start assist, descent control and the brand’s Drive Control dynamic suspension damping.
The Long-wheelbase Navigator L 4x2 in Select pack starts from 64,640 dollars, the Reserve pack will be available for 72,140 dollars and the L model 4x4 in Select trim costs 68,215 dollars and 75,065 dollars for Reserve.
