Lotus Evora gets updates for the Geneva auto show next year

Since it was first launched in 2010, the Lotus Evora was not updated. However, that situation has been changed. The auto manufacturer is working on the presentation of the upgraded novelty by the annual motor show, which takes place in Geneva next year. There, the updated Evora will be introduced as a car of 2016 model year.
According to the carmaker, the novelty gets about 15% of updates in the powertrains and about the same figure less weight. We will remind you, the present version of the Lotus Evora weighs around 3,170 pounds and its output of 276 horsepower in the basic variant and the S pack has the supercharged unit producing the output of 345 horsepower.
Moreover, the automaker also says about some additional versions such as a track-oriented version and a convertible model as well.
Meanwhile, basic features will be similar –the updated novelty will be equipped with the 3.5-liter V6 powertrain, the Evora traditional aluminum tube and the configuration of the 2+2 seats.
