Man arrested in murder of Ill. student selling car on Craigslist

HAZELWOOD, Mo. -- Investigators have detained a St. Louis- location truck-driving school worker in the slaying of an Illinois student who was found slain after publishing his auto for sale on Craig's List Online Service, reviews CBS St. Louis.The physique of 19-year old Taylor Clark was discovered at the M.T.C. Authorities say the worker, 2 4-year old Michael Gordon, fatally shot the Southern Illinois University of Edwardsville pupil following the two had met in the truck-driving college parking-lot about Clark's Craigslist post, reviews the station. They say they consider Gordon shot him once and attempted to protect his body in a nearby wooded area. Authorities would not discuss a purpose but said Gordon created statements to authorities, reports the station. Capt. Tim Fagan of the Florissant, Mo., police division stated at a press conference Wednesday night that authorities detained Gordon after his title was discovered in e-mails Gordon traded with Clark about the auto, reviews the Chicago Tribune. He explained the two did not understand one another preceding to the Craigslist post, reviews the newspaper. Authorities say they never have regained the arms plus they are looking for Gordon's vehicle, a reddish 1990 BMW with a Missouri license plate: FL329K, reviews CBS St. Louis.Clark had apparently only taken last examinations and paid his tuition for the next term before he was killed."By all accounts he was a really great young guy, a quality individual - a university student who sadly fell victim to a terrible occasion," Fagan stated Wednesday.
