McLaren's 675LT is sold out
2092
It is just two months taken off the McLaren 675LT's world debut in the Geneva Motor Show, but the British automaker has sold out the whole production run of its own tradition-inspired superb auto.
McLaren spokesman Wayne Bruce verified to Autoblog before on Friday that all 500 models of the 675LT's prepared production run happen to be spoken for. Bruce added that half of all 675LT customers are new to the McLaren brand. Although perhaps not inexpensive with an asking-price of GBP259,500 (which converts to about $401,000), 675LT customers are acquiring a heck of a device. Powered by McLaren's 3.8L twin-turbo charged V-8, the 675LT develops a stout 666 hp and 516 lb-feet of torque. Those numbers internet a 0-60 time in significantly less than three-seconds along with a best velocity of 205mph. Although a thoroughly contemporary device, the LT, which means "Long-Tail," is a throwback to the F1 GT McLaren made in 1997. The rarest of all F1 versions, McLaren constructed only three samples of of its F1 GT Long Tail for street use. Live pictures by Ronan Glon. Read Source
