McLaren continues releasing teasers for its new Sports Series

McLaren is working on development of the new sport series, which is planned to be presented in Geneva next March.
Most likely, the novelty will use small monocoque chassis made of carbon fiber. The car will get the 3.8-liter V8 engine borrowed from other McLaren models. The gearbox is expected to be the seven-speed SSG dual-clutch used in the 650S.
The main rivals for the McLaren novelty of the sporty series are Porsche 911, Ferrari California T and Aston Martin V12 vantage.
You may ask what is a significant difference between the novelty and the current 650S. It is a price. If the 650S costs starting from 265,500 dollars, the model of the sporty series will have the lower price.
