Morris Garages comes back with its MG GTS SUV
The small British carmaker MG, which currently is a subsidiary of the Shanghai automaker SAIC. The MG auto manufacturer is a company that conquered many customers and attracted many fans in the world with its wonderful T-series and Midget models.
According to the latest information, the British auto manufacturer is working on development of the new model, which will be probably a crossover or a small SUV as well.
The future novelty is based on the SsangYong Korando, but its back suspension will be borrowed from the Volkswagen Tiguan. The MG’s model may be equipped with the 2.0-liter four-cylinder inline turbocharged gasoline engine.
The novelty looks similar to the concept car CS, which was introduced at the auto show in 2013. The exterior includes the fascia in front, hatch and all doors are like the current Renault has.
However, it is important to add, the auto manufacturer tries to pose the novelty as an urban SUV with the special British design.
Meanwhile, the modern worldwide auto market has the demand for small SUVs and crossovers more than for the gorgeous roadster.
The carmaker expects, the model will meet competition with Mazda CX-3, Toyota C=HR and Honda HR-V as well.
The novelty is expected to come on sale next year for the price of about from 19,300 to 25,700 dollars depending on a pack.
The crossover will be offered on the Chinese auto market. However, the British carmaker believes in its return on the U.S. auto market but most likely with a sporty model.
