Volkswagen prepares to introduce its new GTI Club Sport
The Volkswagen auto manufacturer are working on developing and testing a new prototype of the Golf GTI Club Sport. Now the model is tested at the Nürburgring track in Germany. We could recognize it due to some traditional lines and key shapes as well.
Moreover, there is the noticeable Wiechers label. As you may know, the Wiechers company works with building track vehicles parts. It offers upgrades for suspensions, harnesses and racing seats for cars. In is clear that most of Wiechers features are mounted in the GTI prototype.
In addition, this prototype gets the new lip spoiler in front, a new lower suspension, the massive wing mounted on a roof at back and certainly 18-inch wheels, which are borrowed from the Golf R.
Unfortunately, the spy pictures are not able to show updated in a powertrain; however, some one has noticed that the novelty sounds noisier than its predecessor, which is equipped with a basic engine producing the output of 210 horsepower and the unit of 220 horsepower of the output in the Performance park version.
This year the Wörthersee Tour tuning fest is planned to take place at the end of May, where probably we will have a chance to see the Golf GTI.
Also there are some rumors that say the Volkswagen carmaker just use the exterior of GTO to hide testing of its new Golf R Evo, which comes with updated aerodynamics, reduced weight and equipped with a more powerful unit.
