New Jeep Renegade comes with a price of from 18,990
Last year, the smallest Jeep Renegade was introduced at the auto show in Geneva. Finally, the novelty is expected at the show rooms in a few months as a car of 2015 model year.
The automaker has declared pricing. The basic Sport version with the front-wheel-drive will be sold for 18,990 dollars while the all-wheel-drive Sport variant comes with the price of 20,990 dollars.
The all-wheel-drive versions has the brand’s Active drive system and Select-Terrain car’s dynamic control including modes: mud, sand and snow.
The Latitude variant with front-wheel-drive costs 22,290 dollars, while the all-wheel-drive version will be sold for 24,290 dollars.
Both models are equipped with the 1.4-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine, which produces the output of 160 horsepower and the torque of 184 lb-ft. That powertrain works with the six-speed manual gearbox.
In addition, the novelty is offered with the 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine, which produces the output of 180 horsepower and the torque of 175 lb-ft. The powertrain works with the nine-speed automatic gearbox, then. A more powerful engine is an optional feature.
The main rivals for the Jeep Renegade are Mazda CX-3, Honda HR-V, Chevrolet Trax, Mini Countryman and Nissan Juke.
