New racecar Honda NSX Super GT
The Honda brand introduces its new racecar, which will complete with the Japanese Super GT touring cars in the premier next year. The novelty is still been developing but we have already seen its final look owing to announcements of next year.
The car is based on the Acura NSX and that is why the racecar named as NSX Concept-GT. This vehicle will come in 2015. According to the Automobile Federation of Japan, this racecar completely meets the requirements and standards of the Super GT planned for next year.
Now the Super GT regulations are more satisfied the DTM series in Germany owing to the equipment with 2.0-liter turbocharged engines and other additional hybrid systems.
Besides a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged mid-position engine, the NSX Concept-GT has the racing hybrid system, which may be similar to the Acura NSX’s three-motor system, developed specially for the Acura model.
The new racecar comes up to take the Honda HSV-10 GT place that replaced the original NSX after the last one was out of series. The current HSV-10 GT meets standards of Super GT. It was based on a fruitless sports car, which had to become the second generation of the NSX model. Unfortunately, the Japanese auto manufacturer suffered a setback because of the financial crisis in 2008.
Anyway, the ultimate result of the Honda’s improvement and technical developments we will estimate not until 2015, when the carmaker officially presents its new racecar.
