Nissan’s Next Z Sports Car May Be Delayed

2016 Nissan 370Z NISMOEnlarge PhotoIt was not that long ago that Nissan was intending to have a three-grade sports car line: the gt r at the best, a new Z sports-car in the center and an entry level version based on 2013's amazing IDx theories targeting younger customers. Restricted interest in sporty coupes, particularly after the initial year or 2 out there, got Nissan reconsidering it intends, yet.
The last we noticed was that the auto-maker was intending to keep the gt r as a ring version while the next Z sportscar could be down sized into a smaller, more reachable version straddling the difference involving the present 370Z as well as the IDx theories. Sadly, this change in strategies will probably lead into a delayed entrance for the next Z.

Talking with Australia's Push, Nissan design leader and senior vice-president Shiro Nakamura stated there may be a difference between the conclusion of creation of the 370Z, now entering its eighth-year in the marketplace, and its own ultimate replacement. You might remember that there is a similar difference involving the 300ZX of the 90s and the re-positioned 350Z started last decennium.
"We have not determined anything about the next generation Z, whether it should be bigger or have more strength," Nakamura described. "We should take another pass."
A likely situation for the next Z is a substitution in the present 3.7-liter V6 of the 370Z to a turbo-charged four-cylinder motor. It'll also probably be a strict two seater, to further distinguish it from the gt r, as well as the convertible choice will probably stay. What is not clear here is is when we we may see the new automobile in showrooms.
