Nissan mulls Rogue hybrid for US

Nissan is apparently contemplating a Rogue hybrid vehicle for the United States marketplace.
The version was previously revealed the other day for Japanese clients as the Xtrail Hybrid, which match a 40 hp electric motor having a 2.0-liter direct-injection in-line-four that supplies an additional 145 ponies and 153 lb-feet of torque. The firm failed to formally support plans to provide the Xtrail Hybrid beyond Japan, but the car chief technologist, Nobusuke Toukura, has told Automotive News that the US start is under review. The Xtrail hybrid program guarantees to provide both fuel economy and better low end torque in comparison with the conventional gas-powered version. It reaches a 48.5 mpg standing in Japanese evaluation bikes.
