Sales Volkswagen grew up three percent owing to Golf of the seventh generation

According to the statement of the Volkswagen Group, its selling went up 3% due to increased sales of the new generation Golf in 2013.
The carmaker sold about 5.93 million vehicles last year. Only in December, Golf sakes grew up to over 535,000 cars.
The brand representative said that owing to increasing demand for the new Golf, the Volkswagen manufacturer strengthened its competitive position on the international auto market.
Besides, the carmaker introduced the new Golf in the American and Chinese markets to increase its global presence.
However, now the automaker has realized that this year will be hard enough for production, sales and profit.
Meanwhile, last year’s selling can show the following data: the brand sales went down 4 percent in Europe, only in Germany the selling dropped to 560,000 cars. At the same time, demand for Volkswagen’s cars fell to over 400,000 vehicles in the U.S.
Owing to increasing demand in China, the carmaker could rose its sales by 17 percent to 2.51 million vehicles.
