Toyota's Scion division has announced pricing details for its 2016 iA and iM, equally that are expected to arrive in showrooms later this summer.
Scion's first sedan, the Iowa, is the more cost-effective new version using a $16,495 price tag (including $795 cargo) with a six-speed manual-transmission, or $17,595 with an automated gearbox. Introduced earlier this season in The Big Apple, the Iowa is founded on Mazda's next generation Mazda2. It's powered by a 1.5-liter motor with 106 hp and EPA-estimated city/highway fuel efficiency scores of 33/42 mpg for the automated and 31/41 mpg for the guide. The iM controls a somewhat higher cost of $19,255 with AROW-your-own gear box or $19,995 for the CVTiS version. The hatchback basically functions as a Scion re-badge of Toyota's Euro-spec Auris, taking on a more aggressive look inspired by the FR-S.Both the Iowa and iM will soon be open to buy on September 1.
