Spied: 2016 Mazda BT-50

A low resolution image apparently chosen inside of a manufacturing plant has prematurely shown the face-lifted 2016 Mazda BT50, a solid body-on-frame pickup offered in several markets all over the world. Like a lot of its own forerunners, the BT50 shares most of its own mechanical parts using the Ford Ranger.
Most of the visual upgrades for the following model year are located up front, where the truck gets a less polarizing layout defined by smaller headlights, a more sculpted hood and also a shield shaped radiator grille using a chromed framework. The newest appearance is clearly inspired by Mazda's KODO design language. Inside images are unavailable, but sources close to Mazda.com have suggested the BT50 will follow the truck section's change towards more automobile-like cockpits and gain from a brand-new touch screen-based infotainment program, a redesigned centre console and updated stuff. Mechanically, the BT50 is likely to develop the new 158-hp 2.2-liter four-cylinder turbo-diesel motor located under the hood of the Ranger. The present version's Blue Oval-sourced 197-hp 3.2-liter five-cylinder oil burner will be carried over with no important changes, and both 2- and four wheel push versions will again be supplied. Mazda will introduce the 2016 BT50 on-line within the span of summer time. The truck will go on-sale in an extended listing of nations including Australia, South Africa and Thailand before the conclusion of the entire year, but Mazda isn't considering selling it in America.
