A Leftlane reader was kind enough to deliver us the best photos yet of the coming 2017 Mercedesbenz GLC-Type. Built to to displace the glk class, the GLC will be offered to the community next autumn in the Frankfurt Motor Show.
The photographs verify the GLC dumps the GLK's boxy lines and only a softer appearance that borrows styling cues from Mercedes' newest style language. Inspired by the GLEClass, the GLC's frontend gets elongated headlights, a shield shaped radiator grille with two slats as well as a hood highlighted by way of some of unobtrusive electricity domes. Out back, the GLC seem to be fitted with horizontal taillamps just like those available around the C Class station-wagon marketed in Europe.Mechanically, the GLC will be provided using the exact same engines as the C Class, meaning entry level versions is likely to be powered by a turbo-charged 2.0-liter four-cylinder motor rated at 241 hp. Higher-finish versions will reap the benefits of a double-turbo-charged 3.0-liter V-6 that will make 329 hp, and a strong AMG-tuned version will more than likely round out the line a little after in the generation run. The 2017 Mercedes Benz GLC-Course will go on-sale throughout the nation in in regards to annually. Added details will arise in the months before the Frankfurt present. What is next? The GLC Class will spawn a design-focused version called GLC Coupe which will fight head to head from the BMW X-4. Presented as a thinly-veiled theory last week in Shanghai, the GLC Coupe will get smaller wheels, standard door handles and various door mirrors but-its general shape is likely to make the leap from theory to creation with just small changes. The GLC Coupe is planned to produce its debut at next year's version of the Detroit Motor Show. Photographs courtesy of Chris K. Read Source
