The 2014 911 Targa is introduced in Detroit
The Porsche manufacturer has presented its new convertible that is a part of the popular 911 range.
The visitors of the annual Detroit show of this year had a great opportunity to glance at the latest 911 Targa, which had the classic look and kept traditional shapes of the 911.
The new Targa is offered in two variants –the Targa 4 and the 4S. The first variant is equipped with a 3.4-liter engine producing 350 horsepower and the 4S gets a 3.8-liter powertrain, which is able to issue the output of 400 horsepower. Both models are equipped with a four-wheel drive and a standard seven-speed automatic PDK dual-clutch gearbox.
The novelty has become faster than the previous model; the Targa 4S accelerates from 0 mph to 60 mph just in 4.2 seconds.
By the way, the interior was not almost changed.
The auto manufacturer has announced prices for both novelties: the cost of Targa 4 is planned to start from 102,595 dollars and the price of Targa 4S is from 117,195 dollars.
