Recently General Motors announced to recall the Cadillac SRX model because of the lack in power. This crossover has a delay of from three to four seconds when pressing the gas pedal. Certainly, this delay is able to rise a risk of accident or even crashes. However, currently, there are not any reports about accidents, crashes or injuries.
This recalling will affect the SRX of 2013 model year, which are equipped with the 3.6-liter V6 engine, but the recall concerns only cars produced during the period of from May 2012 to June 2013.
According to the official auto manufacturers’ report, only in the U.S. there are over 50,000 cars, which are affected by recalling.
Now the automaker declared about the process of notification possible owners of the affected cars. They should bring their vehicles to the Cadillac’s service center for repairing this defect, certainly free of charge.
