Now days no one considers that SUVs are “a car for a dirty farmer who wears unchanged socks for weeks”. Long time ago premium brands have realized that the production of off-road models in the series do not spoil the image ... But the brand as Bentley decided to produce a SUV ... That was a real surprise.
The new crossover EXP 9 F, presented in Geneva is still only a concept. The British carry out a massive artillery preparation of “contingent” and they keep in secret the time production begins as partisans. Anyway it is too risky project for them. Although the risk can turn a good profit - remember even as yield of Porsche soared after production of the first Porsche Cayenne.

Indeed kingly bearing, 23-inch wheels, plenty of chrome, soft leather, the most expensive varieties of wood, a mini-bar in the trunk. Openings in the daytime running lights function as the air intakes for intercoolers of a W12 engine. Stylishness and glitter! Even limitless, but in reality English four-wheel-drive car is not too threatening, though; everyone thought that it would be the embodiment of monumentality until the last moment.
From the technical point of view, Bentley is also interesting. The concept car is equipped with a Volkswagen W12 engine with two turbochargers. A six-liter plant issues 600 hp and 800 Nm of torque paired to an eight-speed automatic.
Bentley has also confirmed that if built the production version of the SUV would be available with the brand's first-ever vehicle plug-in hybrid powertrain, the details of which are still under wraps. Also SUV will get a twin-turbo V8.
The center console EXP 9 F is made of solid wood veneer; there is 3-D touch screen of the two-zone entertainment system in the middle. Seats of EXP 9 F are located by scheme 4 +1. There is a mini-bar and a box for glasses behind the lifting armrest of rear seat.

Of course, rear passengers are also treated to high-tech bits and sumptuous luxury touches, a fold-down keyboard reveals an iPad or other tablet. Also they get a motorized footrest and a pair of monitors. Do not you need back seats? They can be moved forward with the electric drive for additional cargo space for sports equipment or luggage.
A roof has a transparent element and special soft awnings, which can be useful on a picnic.

The bottom section of the EXP 9 F can be used as a bench or a picnic table equipped with all the fixings needed for a fancy feast alfresco. Plates, silverware, and cocktail glasses are packed in bespoke picnic hampers that fit neatly into the cargo area. There's also space for a pair of umbrellas, and Bentley has even included an awning that extends over the tailgate.
