The first drive of the latest Land Rover Discovery Sport revealed
Finally, the Range Rover’s dealers are ready to receive the long-waited novelty.
The new Land Rover Discovery Sport is a model that we have been expected for long time. At last, it is coming. The car is good for driving at any weather conditions and road surfaces also as well.
After some test-drives, we may be sure to say, that the new Discovery Sport might become the most popular model in the U.S.
First of all, the novelty is oriented on the practically and versatility.
The novelty of the Range Rover carmaker will be able to meet the competition with such models Volvo XC60, BMW X3 and the Audi Q5 as well.
The Discovery Sport is a replacement for the previous LR2. The exterior of the novelty keeps similar accents of the Evoque but the novelty looks more attractive due to its new 20-inch wheels, the keyed headlights, a new higher roofline, integral skid plates and other exterior elements, which do not let you go pass that car.
The Range Rover’s novelty is equipped with the 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine, which is able to produce the output of 240 horsepower and the torque of 251 lb-ft. That powertrain works with the nine-speed automatic ZF gearbox, which has been used in the Jeep Cherokee.
Owing to that powertrain, the novelty accelerates from 0 mph to 60 mph in 7.8 seconds.
Inside, we can see modern and advanced equipment, which helps driving easily. The driving has four different modes: Grass, Gravel, Snow, Mud, Ruts and Sand.
