The latest Volkswagen Golf R is ready for the order next month
Even last month, at the annual auto show in Los Angeles, we told about the Volkswagen auto manufacturer planned to sell first 500 Golf R models for the price of 37,415 dollars before the official selling start.
So, the orders list will be available since 8 January.
According to the carmaker, these first 500 cars will get the best trim. In addition, the technical features will be also the best and include the satellite navigation, the six-speed DGS dual-clutch gearbox; Dynamic chassis control system and the Fender premium audio system. The exterior will be available in the Lapiz Blue metallic and includes new 19-inch alloy wheels in Cadiz style.
The Volkswagen Golf R of 2015 model year is equipped with the 2.0-lietr four0cylinder turbocharged engine, which is able to produce the output of 292 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of the torque. The car is offered with the all-wheel-drive 4Motion system as well. Owing to that powertrain, the car will accelerate from 0 mph to 60 mph in 4.9 seconds; the maximum speed is 155 mph.
