The new Mercedes CLS63 before the official review
Mercedes is upgrading the CLS-Class, and we would like to tell you some news about the future CLS63, which will come on the market next year as a model of 2015.
The renewed exterior will include new bumpers, larger intakes, a changed grille shape and LED headlights. However, there are just some supposed changings, which will be used in the new CLS63.
The novelty will have a 5.5-liter V8 twin turbocharged engine from the present CLS63 AMG. This powertrain is expected to produce the output of 557 horsepower with the torque of 531 lb-ft. This car will be able to accelerate from 0 mph to 60 mph just in 3.7 seconds. The novelty will be offered with four-wheel drive as standard in the U.S.
Besides, the carmaker launched more powerful S model of the CLS63 AMG last year. That car gets the same twin turbocharged V8 unit but it can produce the power of 585 horsepower with the torque of 590 lb-ft; the S version gets 60 mph in 3.5 seconds.
The renewed model is expected to be equipped with a seven-speed automatic gearbox AMG, although they say that the carmaker plans to offer the car with a nine-speed automatic 9G-Tronic.
We may expect selling of upgraded CLS-class including the novelty CLS63 AMG next autumn.
