The new Range Rover Sport SVR
First, we saw the newest Range Rover Sport last year, but the auto manufacturer is currently working on the Sports supercharged variant, which will be badged as the SVR.
Land Rover introduced its novelty as the Range Rover Sport SVR prototype at the Goodwood festival this year. According to carmaker, the Range Rover’s sporty model will be compared to the XKR-S of Jaguar.
The SRV will be equipped with the 5.0-liter V8 supercharged engine, producing the 550 horsepower. In addition, the novelty gets a new stiffer suspension, the brand’s sporty eight-speed ZF automatic gearbox, upgraded anti-roll system, and the sporty bucket seats as well.
You may notice that the new model is quite stiffer than its predecessor is. The novelty has a new lower bumper in front, bigger air intakes on the front bumper and a new large spoiler at the back.
The new SVR model will meet competitors among the BMW X5 M/X6 M, Mercedes ML63 AMG and the Porsche Cayenne Turbo.
We are expecting the official debut of the novelty this year, but the Range Rover Sports SRV will come on the market not earlier than next year as a model of 2015.
