The successor of Lamborghini Gallardo will be named Cabrera
One of the most popular modern supercars Lamborghini Gallardo will give way to a new generation car within next few months.
The successor will reportedly appearing at the Frankfurt auto show in 2013 at the end of this year it was suspected to be carrying the name Cabrera. Lamborghini successor will use lightweight carbon fiber and aluminum spaceframe structure. Cabrera mentioned having a dimension longer than the Gallardo. Its length is 4,500 mm, while the height and width remain the same at 1,900 mm and 1,165 mm.
The “heart” of Lamborghini Cabrera will be a V10 gasoline engine with around 610 horsepower and torque of 541 Nm.
Future customers will be offered a six-speed manual gearbox and a 7-speed robotized dual-clutch one.
Cabrera will be exhibited at the Frankfurt Motor Show 2013 on September 2013
