Toyota and bmw happen To Be Focusing on a Brand New Activities Car
Early in the day this season, BMW and Toyota signed a contract which will provide a brand new low rider to each businesses' line-up.
It appears like the brand new low rider has obtained the green light in the same person who created the Toyota GT86: key engineer Tetsuya Tada.
The new low rider will be built on a greatly revised version of the system and will be driven by an four-cylinder engine from BMW. The two companies are considering super-charged, naturally-aspirated and turbocharged variations of this engine, but these are unlikely to return to fruition, as these systems won't mesh properly with the two electric motors that the companies are likely to use with the gas engine.
It's rumored that the first idea version is likely to be revealed at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show, having a production version to reach within the next couple of years.
