Toyota has to recall over 6 million cars
There is one more news about the following recall. Now it was the largest Japanese carmaker Toyota. According to the informational data, the auto manufacturer is ready to announce the recall of over 6 million cars in the world.
This global recall is connected with many different defects –from airbags to windshield wipers.
This recalling action concerns nearby 2.3 million cars on the North-American auto market and about 800,000 on the European one.
As Toyota said, there were no injuries, crashes or accidents had been reported.
In addition, the Japanese carmaker has agreed to pay the penalty of 1.2 billion dollars to the government of the U.S. for the misleading of its citizens.
Among affected cars are both Yaris models, Tacoma, Corolla, Camry, Land Cruiser Prado, RAV4, Highlander, Innova and other models, which are really popular not only in Japan but everywhere in the world. The auto manufacturer asks all owners of recalled vehicles to display vigilance and bring potential cars to the service centers.
