Toyota is a sales leader
The Japanese auto manufacturer is the perfect leader in car selling this year. Toyota has left behind its main rivals General Motors and Volkswagen.
Toyota gets the record profit this year. According to the carmaker’s data, the company sold 7.412 million cars, in spite of decreasing sales in Thailand, China and the European market.
In comparison with the Japanese automaker, General Motors could sell 7.25 million cars and the Volkswagen group -7.03 million cars during the same period of this year.
Two years ago, Toyota took the third place because of natural disasters in Thailand and Japan. Last year the company was the leader. We would like to remind you that from 2008 to 2010 Toyota was an unchallengeable leader in car selling.
However, this year has not been over yet. The Japanese carmaker has two months more. Toyota, Hino and Daihatsu plans to sell about 10 million cars that will be more by 2 percent than last year.
The American auto market has the great demand for the Japanese vehicles such as Lexus IS and RAV 4. Sales of Toyota in the U.S. grew up 9 percent this year.
On the contrary in the European markets, where the demand for Lexus and Toyota fall down 4 percent.
