UK sales rise 6% in best March this century

LONDON (Reuters) -- British new-vehicle registrations increased by 6% in March to 492,774 automobiles, a report for the month this century, the nation's automotive business organization said.
The Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders mentioned the growth resulted from a variety of new goods, attractive financing packages and low rates of interest.
It was the 37th month of sequential growth for the United Kingdom's new-vehicle industry, that has been led in March by 12-percent year-on-year increase for the fleet sector to 219,153 models, SMMT figures revealed.
"The greatest month this century for brand spanking new automobile registrations is a welcome boost for the Britain's booming automotive sector," SMMT CEO Mike Hawes said in a statement nowadays.
UK revenue through March rose 6.8 percent to 734,588 autos.
The United Kingdom is the most recent leading Europe marketplace to report increasing enrollments in March. In Germany and France sales were up 9 percent, while enrollments rose 19% in Italy and 4 1% in Spain.
