Volkswagen Golf R has been revealed in L.A

This month, at the auto show in LA, Volkswagen has presented its renewed Golf R in a wagon version. The novelty has to come on the auto market next spring but not in the U.S. Currently, we have information about the European market, where the new Golf R wagon comes next year.
In spite of the new Golf R gets a heavier body, it has not lost its performance. The novelty is able to accelerate from 0 mph to 60 mph in 5.1 seconds; the maximum speed is 155 mph. The figures are similar to the hatchback variant.
The Golf R wagon is equipped with the 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine, which produces the output of 296 horsepower with the torque of 280 lb-ft. The gearbox is the six-speed DSG dual-clutch; in addition, the novelty gets the all-wheel-drive 4Motion system.
Meanwhile, the novelty has some technical updates such as the new adjustable suspension, 18-inch wheels as standard and 19-inch wheels as an optional feature. The model allows three driving modes: Normal, Eco, Individual and Race.
The redesigned exterior includes new bumpers, quad-exhaust system and black gloss diffuser at the back.
Inside, there are many features and systems; the interior is covered Alcantara trim, the Nappa trim is also offered.
