Bill Vangor is our nice, mild manner internet guru. By day he works for Mohegan Lake Audi... and for about 16 years. By night he is a real dyed-in-the-wool..with a wool white collar, Lutheran minister... No _ _ _ t!! How cool is that? Well apparently not cool enough because I thought we were going to call the police to have Pastor Bill put in a strait jacket. You see Bill's been doing this for a long time and he's been with Mohegan Lake Audi since the beginning and when Bill says, Guys, I never seen an A-3 TDi clean diesel with a true S-Line package and a real TITANIUM PACKAGE, we all listen. So it was with little surprise that when this A-3 landed a few days ago, the phone jumped off the hook. A 40 plus MPG A-3 for only $27,995 with Audi Certification and all the goodies, is like truly a needle in a haystack...damn rare. So two days ago, a seeming nice guy drives up from Philadelphia to check out this A-3. He looks at it up and down... wow pano-roof, sport seats, paddle shifters.... AWESOME, he proclaims. Then he drives it for about 20 miles..up and down the Taconic...Boy does this thing handle, he brags, So they come back to the dealership, and Pastor Bill whips out the order and starts writing. With that our formerly nice client says, can you find me one in Black? Well forget the minister schtick... forget the collar... forget the 16 years, Bill runs him up one side of the wall ...then down. And in fact Bill sounds like a New York Ranger fan when they lose 5 nothing... NOT PRETTY. So that's just the beginning. Find a black one,...find a black one? There aren't anyother anyother TDi's with S-Line and Titanium in the country under $37,000... and then there are only 2. Undaunted, our client says, So you'll look for a black one? Well, the wallpaper came off Bill's office wall... the picture of Scott Keough, the President of Audi fell down on the floor... and then our client left with the comment, I take that as a NO?
