2014 Porsche Cayman S Reviews
That which WE LIKE: We enjoy quite almost everything relating to this auto. Of particular note will be the totally weighted shifter activity the thrilling exhaust; the telepathic directing result; as well as the exceptional freight space, divide between the front and back luggage compartments. We attempted to keep this car's price down and purchase a pure variant of the greatest sports car of Porsche. That meant no navigation system, no big wheels, with no mega-high-priced 18-way power seats. And while we might enjoy a USB port to play with our music through the half- stereo system that is adequate and we might believe the steering wheel trimming seems inexpensive, we actually must quit whining immediately and remind ourselves during those minutes that we've become soft and stupid. Everything is perfect.
That which ourselves DON'T ENJOY: Since taking delivery of ourselves' S in August of this past year, our distaste for steep drive aprons and speed bumps has grown exponentially. With anything. The matter ourselves can not do a darn thing about and actually do not enjoy, however, is the deficiency of a dipstick of the Cayman. Like many present automobiles (particularly German ones, it appears), the Cayman runs on the detector to let you know when you or the stoned guy in the oil change emporium has overfilled your engine or when you are running low. Call ourselves Luddites if you had prefer, but we enjoy to really, physically check the oil.
We are now wondering if our oil-level detector is you know, nuts. Our dealer is not --so far-- concerned. We have added oil three times. At 7643 miles, the automobile to run a test of the oil amount was instructed by us also it came up low so we added half and a quart. The ominous warning popped up at 15,774 miles. Afterward, intermittently, ourselves began getting a warning in regards to the oil amount being "above maximum." Ourselves emptied of a quarter although the warning had gone away. Flummoxed, ourselves shortly took it to the dealer along with a half high. The mathematics isn't actually working out here. So, since we are sure we've just the right quantity of oil in the small engine that is sweet, we'll see for just about any warning lights. We'll take the matter back to the dealer to ensure the detector is not flawed, if ourselves get another. That looks a staggeringly high speed to ourselves, as well as the owner's manual in our auto says just that, "it's standard for the engine to consume oil." Ourselves'll keep our eyes on the detector.
WHERE ourselves WENT: We have seen, with our wonderful small gator, the states and Kentucky in rough chronological sequence.
