Opel Astra? Opel? Wait a moment, I believed the Astra was released by Holden. What's happening here? Are car manufacturers allowed to-do that and nick the names of every other's automobiles, as when they were first names? How about copyright?
Well, no. Take a seat and have a deep breath. The coming in Australia of the Opel Astra isn't the start of the free-for all nameswapping session. Rather, it's an acknowledgment of the close relationship between Holden and Opel, that have shared the Astra for decades, type of, with both marques being subsidiaries of GM. The Opel Astra is a practical and sensible little fivedoor family vehicle with abundant attractiveness and lots of alternatives.
